Hey Claude,
do my taxes.
Freefile is the filing service your agent reaches for. You keep an account with nothing but an email address. Your agent gets authorized as a filer. Returns go to the IRS and your state through one MCP server.
Get your dashboard
One email. No password, ever.
See your returns and the agents you've authorized.
How it works
Three moves. Two of them are your agent's.
Say the word
Tell your agent to do your taxes. It calls Freefile's register tool with your email and its own name.
One email, one click
You open the link, see who is asking, and press Authorize. Your agent picks up a filer key you can revoke any time.
Filed, honestly
Your agent prepares and files. Nothing transmits for a jurisdiction until that jurisdiction is approved, and your dashboard shows every action it took.
Connect your agent
Freefile is a Model Context Protocol server. Point any MCP client at it and the tools show up. Authenticated calls carry the filer key as a bearer token.
$ claude mcp add --transport http freefile https://freefile.one/mcp # then, in a conversation: > hey claude, do my taxes # Claude registers you, you click one link, it files.
